Pizza For Sales

Last last Tuesday was my I&E school project. It is one of those typical extra module that we as a student of Ngee Ann Polytechnic, had to participate in. Initially, we had to pick a favourite sub-module from a wide variety of choices such as Health & Lifestyle, Environment, Community or Entrepreneur. Without a doubt, Health & Lifestyle was in my top list when given an opportunity a choice as I have passion for sports. Due to some circumstances, I opted for Entrepreneur instead. Fortunately for me, it turned out well. I was extremely delighted and lucky that I had chosen Entrepreneur for my I&E module, the reason being, me and my group had earned fairly an amount of profits by selling pizza.
Well, our project could have been a catastrophic one if we had decided on our first idea to sell clothes. The reason why I said so, there was a group located nearby our stall, selling clothes. From our observations, they did not earn rather well as we could see a stock of clothes behind their stall still left unsold even though we had already earned enough profits from the sales of the pizza to cover up our budget and cost price during the sales. If I am not wrong, I was informed by my group members that they even had to cut the price of their clothes drastically. Pity them. After much considerations made by our group members, we decided to sell pizza instead.
If you wonder why our business was a breeze, it was mostly thanks to Arvin, our group leader, who had a bunch of his friends visited our stall and bought the pizza from us. Well, credit to our group too for their sheer hard work and determination to put together a successful business. Not to mention Aman, one of our group member, who had his colleague from the pizza company he worked for, to give us a discount for the order of the pizzas. Awkwardly enough, I kept getting his name wrong. Must apologise for that. I am a firm believer that life is not always perfect. Coincidentally, our business fell into that matter. Unofrtunately, the downfall from our project was, we are not able to sell all the drinks that we had ordered. Well, selling the drinks together with the pizza was not my idea as I predicted many customers would rather buy the pizza only. However, I just went with the group's decision. Had my group heeded my advice, I reckon we could have earned better though. All in all, I was glad to be part of the group. If given a chance to change anything from my group, I would be content to change nothing, nothing at all!
