Today mark the end of the first two weeks of my school holiday. In fact, time do flies when your are enjoying yourself. Wish had the holidays stretched a week or two longer though, so that I can see off the remaining world cup matches. Unfortunately, have to give some of the matches a miss instead, due to school.
Talking about school, my school books, bag and study table have been busy collecting dust ever since the last day of my common test. That's why I had spent part of yesterday doing some cleaning in my room. A sense of guiltiness overcome me as I had barely touch anything related to school stuffs even though there are some upcoming projects await when school reopens. However, I always live by this mantra that, "Holiday is a time for you to enjoy yourself and have a break.", which means forgetting about school or work matter. Rightfully, I will not be giving a tiny bit of attention about my studies. Instead, I will be finding ways to have fun.
My holiday activity officially began on last Sunday, whereby Deslen and I went to shop at Orchard. Initially, I didn't have in mind on what to shop for, nevertheless, I went anyway hoping to chance upon for any sales item available out there since the GSS have finally arrived, at long last. Once we arrived, I accompanied Deslen to the foodcourt in Wisma, to grab some prata and teh tarik, which he allegedly claimed to be the best prata he had ever tasted(I doubt so). After much time roaming around the malls, I bought a pair of trousers whereas Deslen got himself, not one but three red singlets. Come nighttime, met Deslen's friends along the way to Cineleisure and we had KFC for dinner. Love that crispy fried greasy chicken!
The rest of the days after that Sunday, had Khun Cheng not went back to Cambodia, he would be either messenging or calling me out to go shopping, karaoke or catch a movie. Since he is not here in Singapore, much of my precious holiday time are spent at home watching movies and sleeping late just to catch as much world cup matches as my tired eyes would allow me to. I didn't had to watch the world cup matches alone though, Dawei and I witnessed it live from his home. The best part is, we didn't had to watch football on an empty stomach, instead we feasted on a fully grown bbq spring chicken and had some ginger beer. We also made a hell lot of noise which prompt his neighbour to come knocking on his door reminding us to be quiet. Alas, all these late night sleeping and snacking on junk food come with a price to pay. In the end, my body immunity system give way and I became the victim of the sore throat and flu virus. It's been long time since I got sick, so I would never mind now.
Not forgetting one more thing which I need to spend much of my holiday time is to study for my FTT, due this Friday. Got to allow myself some time and discipline to revise. The last thing I need is to fail my FTT and wait for 3 more months to retake it.
